It was OK. Compared to other books I have read recently, it wasn't as gripping. The concept of the story is good though and for a light hearted read with a happy ending, it definitely fulfilled the job!
Both characters Bob (Paul) and Betty (Hildy) have there own issues that they are dealing with, quiet normal issues as it happens. For me the characters were portrayed as older than their years and I often wondered if 18/19 year old's would really carry on like that in real life?
The plot picks up in the last 3 chapters, but I think lost it's way a little in the middle. King Kong the puffer fish kept the story amusing and the little drawings were a great addition. As you finally discover the back story to Paul and Hildy and as they divulge and share their memories with eachother, they do indeed become a positive result in the initial study. Would have been nice to see Jeff's (the guy who created the study) take on it all.
A nice story with a little sorrow, a little drama and a sprinkle of excitement.
