I was introduced to the writing of Anne Holt and her protagonist Selma Falck by Readers First when I won a copy of the first book in the series: A Grave for Two. Selma is an extremely believable character, brought to life by Holt's excellent prose and I look forward to learning more about her journey in this third instalment in the series. The book's cover is also beautifully simplistic while conversely being highly emotive. I cannot wait to get into this autumn/winter read.
