I’ve not read Anne Holt book before, she’s a new author to me. This book is the third in a series, without having read the second book in the series, I’m unsure as to whether that needed to have been read to know if there was a before to the shooting. Whether or not the ending is linked to this books beginning it didn’t feel like anything was missing. The author writing is descriptive. I could easily picture the events in my mind. As I kept reading, more questions popped into my head making me want to read more. It was like a cliffhanger feeling when the extract had finished.
