So Scandi crime! There is always a slight adjustment as I get used to the Scandinavian legal process but I enjoy the style and tone of them. This has already intrigued me - a murder, multiple potential perpetrators and doubt who the real target was. There is also the matter of the secrets Selma is holding back, the mystery of her daughter’s lack of reaction and the references to previous cases(presumably covered in an earlier book), just in the first 29 pages. I like the strong character and will look at Anne Holt’s other books. I’m hooked!
