Ive not heard of this author before and after reading the first look I can't say that her style of writing particularly appeals to me. I felt that the introduction to some if the characters was a little superfluous and lacking in any real substance. However the plot sounds to be one which could be quite engrossing, so time will tell on a full reading if the novel
