I enjoyed reading this snippet. The story hooked me straight away and it's important that a book does this within the first couple of pages or so, or I'd put it down and leave it. The plot is interesting and I enjoy reading stories like this, where there is a murder mystery and you are trying to figure out who was responsible and why. I like how the author introduces you to the different characters pretty quickly. I haven't read anything similar to the first section of this book before, so that was something different and an incident that will hopefully have some bearing on in the story as it progresses. I like the layout of the book and the chapter headings too. The style of writing is also easy to read and the language flows well. It has left me wanting to read more! I would happily read the whole book in a few days. Fingers crossed I win this book!
