So i went into this book thinking it will be amazing after reading the first few chapters for free here but u was SUPEEEER disappointed!!!!
It was such a slow burn which i usually totally enjoy but this felt a little bit too slow of a slow burn for me!
I thought that there was sooo much information that was just totally not needed and it really annoyed me at times
Overall i think the plot was ok. I don’t read much thrillers so this might be a reason I didn’t enjoy this book as much as others.
I also found the characters quite plain to be honest. They felt very one dimensional? I’m not sure how to properly describe it.
I wished we found out more about the journalist’s ex police man friend as we don’t get much detail about their relationship and personality which i wanted to find out more about!
