A memory for murder by Anne holt.
I’ve not read any books by Anne Holt before. This is the third in her Selma Falck. I was very excited to receive this book and get started. Judging by the blurb and the cover it looked to be an interesting book. This book has been translated to English and with that I find there are a few grammar errors and a few sentences that don’t make sense. It’s been an incredibly hard read, which has taken me so long to get through. The story changes perspective throughout and it’s hard to keep track of what’s going on. I found the writing style hard to grasp, it was very descriptive a little too much for me. I also found that the story had a few random actions for example ‘he moved the cat off his lap’ there was no mention of a cat in the scene or the book prior to this.
Quite a political book with the MP being shot outside a cafe but was she the target or was Selma Flack? And who has been paying Selma a visit when she’s not been home? Does she have a stalker? And if so how do they know so much about her and her childhood?

I have to come to the conclusion that perhaps this book would have been better if I had read the ones prior to this to have a background on Selma Flack.
