This is my review of A memory for murder by Anne Holt.
This is the first book i have read by Anne Holt i had not heard of her beforehand.
I was quite interested in this book as i liked the cover and the blurb made it sounds like a really good story line. However i really struggled to read this book. I have picked it up a few times but just dont seem to be getting any where with it. I dont no if its because it is a really slow burner. I felt it started really good but the story just got really slow and there doesn’t seem to be alot happening. I feel like wuite abit of the story would not be missed if it was taken out.
I feel like the characters are not very interesting and there backgrounds could be described and investigated a little more. But then maybe if i read the first two books i would have known more about them.
I dont think i will be rushing to read anymore of these books unfortunately.
