10/10 on the blurb, I mean It makes you want to read the book or google the crime, I honestlu read it and wondered if I should have heard of this before.
This promises to be a very different read, as it's true crime rather than fiction, and the opening pages give a very factual account on the origins of poison.
I can safely say that this is not my normal sort of read, I'm not sure if I'd enjoy the whole novel. However the opening pages have so much information and points on interest!
The author is clearly passionate about the subject and has done serious research.
Whilst not perhaps an entertaining read. I think I could happily give it a go, and possible learn some thigs in the process.
a 14 year old prolific poisoner, who actually existed, who's story is being told by such an acomplished and well known author as Carol Ann Lee, I'd definitely give the rest of the book a good goo
