The fact that this book starts with a talk about history is imressive already! I love greek mythology and love watching documentaries about ancient egypt, making this intruduction is perfect. I think through showing the interest in the history of poison the main character expresses his love to poison. I already learned a lot about poison just through reading those first few pages, which I loved.
