The author did wonders leaving the first impression on a note like that! The introduction was a little boring to start with, but I enjoyed hearing familiar historical names and how they were related to poisoning. The Old Bailey was an excellent chapter, I loved the details of the whole court scene and how everything went down. Also I'm going to be a little suspicious of everybody anytime I have a stomach ache now so there's that too.
