I’ve never read a true crime book before, but I thought this was an incredibly captivating case. I have never heard of Graham Young, so this was all very new to me. The book was very well written, well researched, and in-depth. I thought it was such an interesting case as normally you find some type of childhood trauma, but Young had a completely normal childhood from the looks of it. The only problem seemed to be some family issues but that seems completely normal to me. As with a lot of serial killers, Young wanted to go down in history as the best poisoner and even wanted a wax figure to be made of himself. I wonder if he never got what he wanted. He killed his stepmother and went on to later kill more people in the future. I’ve never heard of poisoning people through tea, so I thought his method of killing was extremely fascinating and different. Overall, such an intriguing read. I am very happy and grateful that I won it.
