This book on Graham Young is utterly amazing, so much detail, and brief history bits throughout which I found incredibly interesting. Graham first started to poison his friends and family when he was just 14 years old, he did it for 'scientific curiosity' it's almost certain that Graham was responsible for the untimely death of his 40 year old stepmother Molly, who died in hospital having been drugged by Graham for so long he kept needing to up the dose. His sister was the first to discover she'd been poisoned with belladonna, his poor father Frank suffered irreparable damage to his kidney's. This all landed Graham a very long stretch in Broadmoor psychiatric hospital, where he was 'cured' and released. He then went into temporary housing (a hostel) where he immediately began to poison one of the few friends he'd made there, the only reason this person survived is, Graham got a shiny new job, lodgings and began a much more sinister campaign of poisoning. A beautifully written book, it's easy to see why carol Ann lee is so popular! Highly recommend to all true crime fans!
