An interesting and detailed read
A Passion for Poison tells the true story of Graham Young, a 14 year old school boy who was convicted and sent to Broadmoor after he poisoned his father and sister.
Released from Broadmoor aged 22, Young was employed as a storekeeper at a photographic instruments firm, where, remarkably, no-one knew about his past.
Young began poisoning his co-workers, killing two, before he was arrested and charged with 2 counts of murder, 2 of attempted murder, and administering poison to 4 others.
Young was convicted and sentenced to life in prison, where he died, aged 42, in 1990.
This is a fascinating read, incredibly well researched and written.
I would recommend this book, it would appeal especially to fans of true crime, but in all honesty, it’s such an amazing read that I would recommend it to everyone.
My thanks to Readers First and the publisher for allowing me to read an advance copy of this book.
