I loved this book! It was incredibly well written and extremely interesting. I found it so difficult to put down.

It then follows Young throughout his life, which continues to be dominated by his morbid fascination with poison and the power that it gives him.
I really enjoyed the information that the author gives on the history of poison and poisoners, and the analysis of Young's early life, personality, and family. This book draws on many sources, including interviews from Young's family and friends and other books on the subject. This book was very well researched. At times it felt more like a thriller than a true crime story, a testament to how well written it was.
I was completely hooked by this book and I will definitely be reading more books by this author.
