From the title and cover you realise what you are getting in to: a story of a young man with a passion for poison. However, this story is true and that's where things start to feel a little uneasy about the true horrors of human nature.

Forensically astute, we are taken on a journey through the case of Graham Young who began poisoning his family and colleagues from a very young age. The writing is easy to follow with the occasional time where it feels a little heavy.

It is a story rarely told before and one to add to the True Crime Shelves for years to come. Carol Ann Lee retains her impartial look in to the life of this young man and keeps any emotion at bay: quite the task when you consider who she is writing about.

This book is less about Graham Young and more about what he did, who he did it too and the time he did it in. The writing doesn't try to explain his reasons, it just tries to help you understand what he did.
