The front cover is appealing, crime / mystery and a true story as well. The colours and illustration make me want to read more. The dark colours reflecting the dark subject matter and creating an atmosphere.

To understand the working of the mind of a serial killer, do they see things differently. It's a story, serial killer, that I haven't come across before so I'd be very interested in reading it. You want to know what caused the boy to start killing. Was he always headed down that road to killing, could his life have gone differently in a different environment or different parents etc.
Experiencing the trial from the killer and families perspective, the effect on the victims, survivors and their families would be interesting too
