I love a good crime novel so this really appealed to me immediately. I’m always looking for the next best one and I believe this could really be it! It is the perfect book to snuggle up under a blanket with a hot chocolate whilst it’s cold and dark outside to really fully immerse you into it.
The cover is simple yet effective, as is the title, in setting the scene for what to expect. This tied in with the blurb set my imagination on fire, letting me picture the story as I read- which I think is a sign of a really good book and amazing story telling.
It was a really clever start setting the scene and time zone an hooking us in with simple descriptions and techniques so you can fully focus on the storyline. I love true crime, however i think even those who are not fans of true crime would love this. As this case isn’t the most popular true crime case it’s the perfect way to learn more about it!
