Very detailed.
I knew of Graham Young, and I knew of his case before going into this book. But I truly didn’t know much about him, his case, or anything else surrounding him.
So this book did a wonderful job of educating me on ‘The Schoolboy Poisoner’.
I’m always a little hesitant to read a book when it follows just one killer, as I often find it drags on and doesn’t hold my interest. Yet this book was great, it was factual, the chapters were a good length and I just felt very informed throughout the whole thing.
The author also included a few photographs, which was a nice touch, and I love when true crime books do that, as you can truly get a better look at where these crimes took place and who was effected. The places and people become more than words on a page when you can see the faces of the people murdered.
Just a wonderful book. I would have given it five stars, but I do think the introduction and epilogue was a little boring. Fantastic book otherwise!
