Liked the cover of this book,I am always attracted to books with covers like this one. I enjoy reading about characters that I can believe in, Kate is just such a character. After just a few lines I admired Kate a girl who would love to have time to read and do something with her life but after her mothers death has to be strong and practical in order to care for her father and siblings. I also felt sad for Colm a small boy who because of circumstances hasn't had the love and attention that every child should have. Can't wait to read more of this book. Will Kate get some help to care for her family giving her more time to do what she would like to do or must she carry on until they no longer need her care.
