This book is certainly thrilling. With a mix of crime and horror, the author truly keeps you on the edge of your seat with many twists and turns. The book so far has shown the plot from multiple different views, from a teenage girl with a manipulative boyfriend to a quiet boy with a secret passion, then back to the teenage girl. Except now, she is no longer a teenager. We fast forward and she is investigating an old case that she was a part of, eight years ago, one night filled with clinking beer bottles and groping in the woods. She prepares to go back but is stopped by the sudden disappearance of a colleague, just as his partner is found half-naked in the woods with no recollection of what has happened. I strongly suggest that you take the time to read this extract as you will not be disappointed. You'll be gripping these early pages and waiting for more.
