This book is set in Sweden and the author managed to write the setting wonderfully, the small town mentality of the fictional ormburg was relatable to lots of predudices you do see.
The story is about a cold case of a dead child from Malins past that she had found back in 2009. Hanne has dementia and her short term memory is affected which when found wondering without her diary she needs starts concern as Peter her partner is missing.
Overall there was a lot going on in this story but there is plenty spent on the murder itself though lots around the main characters and the town. I enjoyed this book and the author did manage to tie everything together with the dramatic ending. I would recommend this book and I will look out for the authors previous novel.
