This book was not what I was expecting and thought it would habe many twists and turns and "Oh my goodness" moments than it did. The twists seemed to occur at the end of the book when you feel like you have waded through the rest of the story. The characters are good but do not seem to focus on one main protagonist but flit between different points of view and accounts.
The overall premise was good and the points of the murders and the dementia ideal for an exciting and unputdownable story, however it was not clearly portrayed, so i get it was in some ways lacking.
This is the first I have read of this author and of this genre so was left a tad disappointed. A missed opportunity I feel. Overall good.
