I found this book a little hard to get into at first as I wasn't instantly drawn in.
This book involves Malin, a police officer, Jake a young boy who finds himself involved in the case and Hanne who is the detective on this case but sadly is suffering from dementia but who doesn't want people to know. Once I was a few chapters in I found myself becoming more intrigued as the characters evolved and became more established.
Each person in the book gave a little clue to the reader but the other characters didn't know yet, so it kept my interest there.
It was a good mystery book throughout once I got a few chapters in as arty the beginning I did find it a little slow to start but at three same time I needed to know the outcome.
As the book went on I found myself almost breaking down the story like a detective trying to solve the clues.
I was completely shocked at the end and found myself still thinking about it hours later.
In three end I really enjoyed this book ans the translation was very good.
I would definitely read another book from this author.
