‘After she’s gone’ was a great read, I thoroughly enjoyed this book from the first page to the last. The way that author has set the scene and created the characters within gripped me, and the way all the characters were connected to the plot and to each other was done very well. I liked the characters within, and they all felt very real, I also liked the way the author has delved in to the issues the characters are facing such as hannes dementia and Jakes cross dressing/ being transgender, as well as the case and malin, Ormburg, and the asylum seekers, this novel felt real, the characters felt real, and are facing the real world. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it to other readers.
