This book has such a good storyline to it! It follows 2 people and their lives based around a small fictional town of Omberg.
Malin is a young policewoman who grew up within the small town before moving over to the bigger city to work. She is drafted into work on a murder cold case as she knows the area and the residents well.
Jake, a teenager, lives in the town and becomes very involved with the case after running into an old cop and ending up with her diary in his hands. After reading this, he is one of the only people who can stop yet another murder happening and so, even though it may put him at risk, he has to call the cops and try the best he can to stop this murder from happening.
There is a very good twist at the end of the story that I did not see coming in the slightest!
