After She's Gone was an ok read but ultimately I was disappointed as the book didn't achieve what it promised.
The story was plodding with the pace too slow and at the end of the day the main characters were not engaging enough for me to be bothered or to care about them. I think there was a missed opportunity to use the dementia aspect more
The book was also told from multiple viewpoints a fashion which has become very trendy or in vogue but is difficult to carry off well. After She's Gone doesn't achieve this.
The book cover itself is very nicely done and would probably catch the eye in a bookshop but unfortunately the story is a big of a let down do whilst this isn't the worse book that I have read it is only an ok from me
