I absolutely loved this one!
It was spooky and ominous and everything that I wanted out of a thriller! I was so glad to receive a copy and jumped in straight away.
The characterisation was good, although I didn’t really connect with any of the characters. But then I don’t mind unlikable characters. Just be aware of this if you do!
In terms of the plot, it was slow to begin with but picked up and was well paced. There were some red herrings but nothing came out of nowhere.
I did guess some of the twists but I read a lot of thrillers so I think that’s fair to say! For beginning thriller readers I would recommend this one for a spooky and atmospheric read! It’s also pretty short so you can get through it quickly!
