What a fantastic book! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and in fact, it took me only 2 days because I didn't want to put it down. There were a few missed bus stops and two late nights but this book was just irresistible. The plot was clever and intricate and full or surprises! The craftmanship of this novel is remarkable. We have complex and deep characters who you really feel you get to know and then twists and turns which make you rethink everything! I particularly liked that we had chapters from the perspective of a witness, in this case a child. I think this made the book more gripping because his chapters were especially emotive and interesting so I was always waiting for those chapters. I would recommend this to any lovers of crime fiction, a brilliant book.
