I have not rear anything previously by this author but I enjoyed the first few chapters as they are well written and descriptive. I do enjoy historical novels so am interested in this story. It is based on King Alexander dying without naming his successor and you are introduced to the characters he may have chosen and why. The rest of the story will be interesting to read to find out what happens.
