I really struggled with this one. It didn't help that from the blurb I immediately got GOT vibes, with all the different warring factions looking to own the crown. It just became impenetrable in the opening deathbed scene with a multiplicity of characters and motivations. Rather too much going on initially, hopefully things will settle down but I struggled to read the First Impression which is only a handful of pages so I fear I would not make it through the full book.
