Despite being a common time setting for other books in the genre, I've never read a book set around the time of Alexander the Great.
The start pulled me in with what seemed to be the foundations of an epic power struggle (made me think of A Game of Thrones!) which could be the start of a great new series.
The cover isn't the greatest though, and I don't find it very eye-catching.
