Have never read anything by this author before, but am interested in history & thrillers, so would like to give it a go. Am not persuaded one way or the other by the cover, because I've read books in the past with poor covers & thoroughly enjoyed them, sadly the reverse is true as well & the greatest covers hide poor story lines.
