I am really excited about this book, I love historical fiction, and Ancient Greece, and read a lot based around it but, considering how fasicinating the period of time after Alexander the Great's death is, I've come across very few authors who have based stories on it.

Alexander's Legacy promises to be the start of a series based around the Diadochi(Successors) and the struggle for control of a fragmenting empire. I'm very interested to see how the author has interpreted events and people.

It was a really good opening chapter, I felt I was in Alexander's death bed and the brief mention of the various key players was done in a way to start the reader off without overwhelming them in multiple names and details, and the short section of combat in the opener as well was nicely done.

I've not read Robert Fabbri before, but this promises to be a good historical novel and hopefully the start of a interesting series
