Promising historical novel
I love that it opens with Alexander the Great on his deathbed, a very strong introduction to the story. The setting is great too, I believe we ought to learn more about the ancient Macedon Empire.
From what I grasped, it might be a bit romanticised for the sake of the plot, which I find quite unnecessary. The cover is pretty much in line with the story, but it gives me a sense of a YA fantasy book.
Overall, it seems promising.
