Historical fiction has always been a favourite of mine, especially Ancient. I love the idea of this book, and this first really sets up the story of power and betrayal. The map at the start really helps to place this book in the time it is set. The cover is good, mysterious enough to wonder what's it about and gives just enough detail to get someone to pick it up.
