Well written but not a book which holds any appeal for me.

Although it was clear from the opening chapters that this is a well-written, well-researched book, I think it's not one which attracts me sufficiently to remain in the draw for a copy ... I know that there will be fans out there who will be relieved to know that their chances of getting a copy have just improved! Although I love reading non-fiction accounts about this period of history, descriptions of brutality and bloodshed as entertainment are not what I'm looking for in my reading of fiction!
