The cover is very attractive conveying a mash-up of technology and in utero.
I love science fiction and this looks like a classic space adventure with tiny shades of the Hunger Games and maybe even the Theseus myth. I also enjoy coming of age stories and the concept of 12 carefully chosen teenage volunteers planning to spend the rest of their lives as the first colonists on another planet has enormous promise.
