I’ve struggled with the sci-fi genre, but this book - THIS BOOK! - changed it for me. Was it super cringey at times? Yes. But did it provide me with hours of fun and enjoyment? Absolutely!
An engaging plot that sucked me in... I became addicted, after the first 100 pages or so. It was like Love Island in space, with stakes far higher than the £50,000 prize up for grabs on that popular ITV2 show.
I loved the characters, particularly the girls. I felt a little more distanced from the boys, as we very rarely see them more than the minutes spent in the Visiting Room when the speed dating occurs. However, I feel sure they’ll be given more time in the sequel (if my predictions about where the story will go are correct!)
So excited to continue this space adventure!
