DNF this became more about the big brother batchelor style contest and less about the space mission the more I read. The writing was good but I think the translation wasn’t the best. I may pick it up again when I have more time (& i’m not coming off watching unreal)
The good bits were in the space race, the characters were a bit 1D in their characteristics.
Earning credit to set up life on Mars by how I have people like your blind dates just seems like a recipe for disaster as you go and surprise that’s part of the twist. It creates a tension that shouldn’t be added to a healthy long term mission and I’m dubious as to how it was allowed. The science is mor eon the fiction side than the sci Ncl side for this.
