This book is not what I expected it to be. Its so much more! This book is very interesting as you are privy to key information about the potential future of the people going to Mars before they any of them have any idea what may or may not happen. I loved Leonor as soon as I read the first chapter. The way Victor Dixen portrays her is great, it really makes me want to find out more about her past. It took me a long time to realise that the book had been translated from French. The only clue I had was that the main character is French. I couldn't tell that it had been translated as there were no clunking sentences, everything made sense. So far in this series I wouldn't say there are any heroes or heroines there are just lots of characters who I would like to get to know better. From reading the first installment of this book I can't wait for the others to be translated so that I can find out what happens next on their journey to Mars! Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys YA fiction.
