I thought that the layout of this book was clever, specifically the way in which the first page was made out like an advertisement and addressed the reader directly. I also liked how this was a dystopian style novel, but set in the modern day rather than in the future. This gave the book a more relatable element which can be lost in books such as Divergent and The Hunger Games.

Although romance is not my favourite part of a dystopian fiction novel, I thought that the premise and the idea of the Genesis Program was clever and definitely different to anything I have ever read before.

I also really like how, at random points in the book, there would be graphics and pictures which would help to better explain the narrative. I thought that the author was clever for doing this, as it made my understanding of some of the concepts clearer, and I was able to create a more fleshed out mental picture.
