"Ascension" by Victor Dixen wasn't a book I was aware of until I received it in a "surprise" book box and was super excited by it. I was never big on sci-fi but it's a genre I've neglected even trying so I have been wanting to give it a go and I'm so glad I received this title as it was incredible and has absolutely converted me to the genre. I need all the sci-fi now but I CATEGORICALLY NEED the next two books in this series.
I am never normally good at reading series but Ascension is written the way that works best for me, similar to "Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children" in that the book doesn't necessarily resolve. It just... stops. Like a chapter end. Which I know many don't like but it makes me super keen to continue on the series and honestly it's killing me not having the next book in my possession so I can continue on immediately!!!!!!
