I loved the main character Leo, she is full of flaws, doubts and anxiety. Shes such a relatable character. Through the book you learn more of her and her fellow astronauts backgrounds and how they ended up on the cupido (a space shuttle to send them to mars! Whilst they play the ultimate speed dating of who to pair up with for their new life on Mars!)
The focus on both the 12 astronauts and their 6 minutes of speed dating isnt the sole focus of the story. It actually focuses on both them and the "silent" team who are knowingly up to know good and the son of one of the silent, who's begrudged that he was not selected for the mars mission. His own quest to find answers for why he wasnt selected and what actually is happening builds up slowly.
The end of the book is in such a way that you wish you had the second book to keep on turning the page. I honestly truly enjoyed reading this book and I can not wait for the chance to read the second!
