It's an interesting premise. The story is about 12 young adults that set out for Mars, 6 girls and 6 boys. Their journey to Mars and life there is documented as a reality show. They are supposed to speed-date during the trip there and are supposed to get married once they get to Mars and populate the planet. The preview doesn't go into why they would want to go there, except to gain fame - but the situation on Mars definitely seems to be less than glamorous, what with food rations and the living set-up made out of leftovers from previous journeys to Mars. I'm not sure why they would sign up in the first place, even if they have no real ties to Earth. So that is the only thing that is bothering me so-far. What are they honestly getting out of going? I like the main character and her friend Kris. The writing style is a bit abrupt, but it's alright. I would like to see how it turns out, so I would read the rest.
