I felt this book was a mixture of so many other books, films and tv shows that I couldn’t find any originality in it. A mixture of big brother, hunger games and blade runner- not really unique, so a bit disappointing.
If you like these sort of stories you may find it very entertaining, but it wasn’t for me.
The fact that Six girls and six boys went out in a single spaceship to ‘blind date’ just seems very odd to me. Six minutes each week to seduce and choose who to be with, whilst being filmed is just a little perverse. Who would sign up to this?? It all seems a little unbelievable to me.
