OMG THIS BOOK WAS ACTUALLY LIKE SOSOSO GOOOD!! I really liked it! The whole plot and idea and everything was absolutely amazing! It was really interesting to read! Instead of watching Love Island or something (like all my friends!) I had my very own speed dating event to read about! I was really doubtful if I actually wanted this book because I thought it might be too love focused but it wasn't and was honestly so good! Barely any romance!
Something I didn't like is how Leonor is obviously going to end up with Marcus?? It's always the handsome American's who get it all, isn't it? I thought there was going to be a lot of diversity and there was but literally only in the place of origin. I kind of sensed since the moment Leonor saw Marcus that she was going to fall for him which is literally annoying me so much.
Generally, Leonor was well developed with flaws and insecurities which I liked. However, the fact that they were all going to be killed was revealed to the reader so early meant it was a bit spoilt and there was less tension.
Overall, it was really good and I quite enjoyed it! Can't wait for the next book!
