The front cover of this book definitely sets out what this book will be about I think, a suitcase for a journey and barbed wire depicting capture, this can only mean one thing WW2 and possibly a concentration camp. On reading the first few chapters of this book the two girls are obviously going to be on dividing sides and will their friendship survive the horrors of war. Sounds like it will because harrowing read.
