Talks about the terror faced by the people of Poland, and started off with action of dodging bullets, witnessing deaths before introducing the characters of Hava and Simone. This a a novel based on true events and to tell the tale from Simone’s view and of her friend, Hava who is a Jew. While it is interesting, it might give of a similar style of other books referring to the holocaust. Hence, it will be a good read if you are willing to dive deep into different experiences of the holocaust or if you have not any books relating to the holocaust. Though, I acknowledge that every book has a story that is unique to be told.
